My husband and I love mountain getaways, but we always seem to venture out to the Georgia or Tennessee mountains. Our 2nd year anniversary is in May and I have the pleasure of planning for 2010 (we agreed to alternate years for planning). I would like to suprise my husband with a cabin getaway in a different location. I have my sights on a Pennsylvania Romantic Cabin Getaway. So, in my search for the perfect place I ran across Glasbern. From what I can tell from the pictures on the website it is absolutely beautiful and may be perfect for our anniversary. There are a number of accomodations to choose from:
Glasbern Country Inn

Here are a few of the romantic cabin getaway accomodations:
Bi-Level Suite – Stable: extra large suites with spiral staircase and cathedral ceilings. Other features include king size bed, wood-burning fireplace, wet bar, and more.
Garden Cottage: – king size bed, cathedral ceilings, TV and desk area, medium size whirlpool, and more.
Whirlpool & Fireplace Room – Packhouse: – large rooms offering a whirlpool in the room, desk space with private phone, high speed internet, small refrigerator and more.
